Exeter and District Radio Control Club Commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D Day.

The Exeter and District Radio Control Club held a static display at the Clock Tower, Newton Abbot, Devon on Saturday 27th July 2019. The display this year was to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the ā€œDā€ Day landings. We had a total of 21 planes on display most of them war birds showing the invasion strips. Among the planes on display, Dakota, Swordfish, Fulmar, P47 Razorback, P47 Thunder bolt (Jug), Hawker Hurricane, Spitfire and a Lysander but to mention a few.

The club has a total of 46 members ranging from 13 years to over 80 years. We fly off a field near the Ten Tors pub in Kingsteignton.
